Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma Locations Donating to Kids in Need

Seattle, Wash.—(Nov. 5, 2009)— The Melting Pot Restaurants (www.meltingpot.com) join St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) in the sixth annual Thanks and Giving campaign from Oct. 31 through Dec. 5 to “give thanks for the healthy kids in your life, and give to those who are not” by donating a portion of proceeds to cancer research.

“The Pacific Northwest has a big heart for giving back, especially for kids,” said Lane Scelzi, owner of Washington Restaurant Group, which oversees four local Melting Pot locations. “Since we started the annual campaign in 2004, we have raised over $200,000 and are always excited to see that number growing every year.”

With every donation of $10 or more, guests will receive a Fondue for the Kids Card that offers $20 off any purchase of $50 or more. All proceeds from the Fondue for the Kids Card will be donated to St. Jude.
