KIRKLAND, Wash.—(July 12, 2010)— Celebrate the love of dogs and wine at the “100 Hounds of Kirkland” book signing in Northwest Cellars’ Kirkland tasting room, Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1.

Book signing with Catharine G. Handfelt, creator, writer and photographer of “100 Hounds of Kirkland,” a 128-page photography collection of 100-plus Kirkland hounds. Net proceeds benefit the Seattle Humane Society.

Northwest Cellars’ new puppy, Vino, will greet guests.

Four-legged friends welcome!

Door prizes and drawings for a case of Rescue Red label wine, a doggy photo shoot with Catharine ($250 value), and other great prizes.

Purchase Rescue Red (2005 Merlot) and 20 percent of sales will be donated to the Seattle Humane Society; $17 per bottle, $183.60 per case.

“100 Hounds of Kirkland” book will be available for purchase for $30. The event is part of Northwest Cellars’ “Dog Days of Summer,” celebrated every Sunday in July and August.
