Barons V Opens Woodinville Winery for Tastings

WOODINVILLE, Wash.—(March 31, 2011)—For the first time ever, Barons V is opening the winery’s doors on Saturdays for guests to stop by and sample their wine crafted by Winemaker Matthew Loso.

· 2006 and 2007 Barons V Cabernet Sauvignon ($55)

Blend: 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot

· 2008 Vine & Sun Red Wine ($17)

Blend: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Cabernet Franc, 14% Merlot

Tasting fee is $5 per person; refunded with purchase.

Vine & Sun LLC is owned by five partners and produces Barons V and Vine & Sun fine wines under winemaker Matthew Loso. The wines are blended using grapes from top vineyards in Washington’s Columbia Valley, and are aged in 100% new American oak barrels for 25 months before being bottled and aged for another year.
