From Monday, May 3 to Sunday, May 9, The Melting Pot is celebrating mom all week long with a special menu. Treat mom with any two entrées from the following groups: lobster tail, New York strip Florentine, chili garlic chicken, spring vegetable dumplings, peppered shrimp and pork tenderloin ($44); or signature filet mignon, teriyaki sirloin, peppered shrimp, chili garlic chicken, cedar plank salmon ($39).

Dinners include a cheese fondue, salad, choice of entrée and dessert. Also, meals from the special Mother’s Day menu include a complimentary mimosa for Mom and kids under 12 eat free. Give mom what she really wants on Mother’s Day this year – wine and chocolate. Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5pm, in the Kirkland tasting room, Northwest Cellars will be offering tastings of their award-winning wines.

As an extra special treat, Northwest Cellars will also be giving chocolates away with the purchase of two bottles of wine, while supplies last. The hand-made confections are from Brugge Chocolates in Redmond (a $4 value), and are specially paired with the wines. Tastings are $5, refundable with purchase.
