Superbowl Recipe - Championship Crab Nachos by El Gaucho Chef Steve Cain


Championship Crab Nachos

Serves 6-8 as an appetizer
Or 2 really hungry dudes
This is a very rich dish.

1 pound crab meat
2 cups mayonnaise
16 ounces shredded Colby cheese
4 oz grated parmesan
1 lemon
2 teaspoons cayenne
2 teaspoons granulated garlic or fresh chopped if you’re up to it
1 bunch green onions chopped
1 bag tortilla chips unseasoned

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

1. Combine all ingredients except chips in a bowl mix well. Check flavor some people like more lemon or more heat.

2. Foil a baking sheet and spread chips out in a single layer place crab mix on top of chips making sure it isn’t to thick so it cooks evenly bake for approximately 12 minutes the mix should be golden brown and warm.

3. Serve immediately garnished with more chopped green onion.
