Annual Wine Procurement Party Benefits Local Foster Children

“Grape Expectations” was established 10 years ago to encourage wine donations for the annual dinner and auction, held annually in March. All proceeds from the “One Life at a Time” Gala Auction directly benefit Olive Crest’s mission of preventing child abuse, treating and educating at-risk children, and preserving the family.

Last year, the 100 bottles received at the party were auctioned off for $10,200, contributing to the total amount raised, $426,000. This year Olive Crest hopes to gather even more donations at “Grape Expectations.”

“The Wine Procurement Party is a great way for our supporters and wine enthusiasts alike to gear up for the annual dinner and auction in March,” says Toni Young, Special Event Manager for Olive Crest. “Last year, we were blown away by the amount of bottles we received. With the help of our wonderful volunteers and guests this year, we hope to raise even more bottles to be auctioned off for local foster kids.”

For those who cannot attend the event but would like to make a contribution, cash donations can be made online.
